Grab the Bull by the Horns

Happy Tuesday! I hope you all had a wonderful MDW! I saw so many people were traveling over this past weekend! Although I was not able to travel, I wanted to share a cute travel outfit. I really love the lace up shirt trend. I bought this cute lace up white shirt and I kind of want to wear it everywhere. It's light, chic, and really adorable to dress up or down. I'm a lover of anything boho which I'm sure you all have figured out by now. I've been crushing on these shorts for a while. They are a more loose fit short, but perfect for traveling this summer. I really love the way they look rolled up and effortless for a great summer look.
I promised last week I would share one of my gifts from Evan for our 4th Anniversary, which was last week. We both have been working hard at some goals we have set for ourselves. We both have dedicated a large amount of time and effort into reaching those goals. Although they are difficult we have been saying "Grab the Bull by the Horns" as an encouragement to one another. I even have a little framed quote on my desk and when I need encouragement Evan will send me the "bull" emoji. It's a little silly way to say "keep going!" So for our anniversary, he bought me this adorable Kendra Scott charm necklace with my initials and a bull charm. Best part, if you love Kendra Scott's charm necklaces, the charms have recently went on sale!
Finally, I have to share this awesome LV duffle that my parents got me for a graduation gift. I love to travel and I've wanted a weekend duffle bag for a while. Even though Louis Vuitton bags are expensive, they are really quality items. I can't wait to use this bag on our upcoming trips! Bo, my little dog, loves to sit in this bag and have me carry him around. I guess you could say he is a little "bougey".  If you love nice items but not the price, there is a great site where you can buy quality used product for less. I will link it at the bottom of this post.
Anyways, have a wonderful week and don't forget to "Grab the Bull by the Horns!" All details are linked in the pictures. If you want to see something on the blog or have an individual question for me, feel free to comment on a post or email me at diamondsonhersoul@gmail.com.  I'd love to hear from you!

Memorial Day Suit

As the Memorial Day Weekend approaches, I'm sure you have fun plans that include the outdoors. Memorial Day is the official start to summer! Yah! Summer is my absolute favorite time of year. So, I decided to change up the blog today and incorporate some summer sass.  I love nothing more than sitting by the pool, being out on the lake, or at the beach. If I could wear a bathing suit with shorts and a t-shirt everyday, I'm pretty sure I'd be a very happy girl. That's basically all we did on our honeymoon and I loved it!
Anyways, my point is that I love bathing suits and I love finding cute ones. I've been on the hunt for a nice one-piece for while. I love the classic look of a one-piece and honestly, sometimes you just don't want to be in a bikini. I've also found it's hard to find a one piece that doesn't 1) look like you're on a swim team, 2) isn't some crazy pattern from the 80's, and 3) a zillion dollars.  I'm always like it's like half a piece of cloth for $80? However, Target has some really cute classic pieces. I found a few pieces I really liked but ended up taking this one home (along with a million other things from Target- Target always gets my money!). I liked the design that feels like a two-piece but has the comfort and classic look of a one piece. Even better news, this swimsuit is on sale! If you are looking for some cute pieces for this upcoming weekend or vacation, give Target a look. Also, this swimsuit bag is $7.00! It's awesome to store your wet bathing suit in. The bag is linked in the photos above along with the swimsuit.  Oh, and how sweet were these gradation goodies from J.  Crew? Perfect for all the summer festivities!
I hope you enjoy your Memorial Day weekend and day off (if you get one). More importantly, don't forget to remember those who gave their lives fighting for our freedoms!

Summertime Suede

Hello! So a few weeks ago, I went to the opening of a new boutique, Fab'rik. I've shopped at a few other locations in the Charlotte area before. Anyway, I picked up this adorable dress at the store opening. I was a little unsure at first because it's not my typical "style" but I decided to branch out because I loved the texture. After trying it on, I loved it. The form fit is what makes the dress. I loved the form fitting upper half and the loose bottom half. It's comfy and chic.  These earrings are a pair I talked about in my last post. I bought these at the Kendra Scott event last week. How cute are they?
Our 4th wedding anniversary is coming up this week so I am very excited and I am thinking of wearing this dress and earring combo out (if we get to go anywhere... that's still undecided). We may have to grab a quick dinner for various reasons but I figured this dress would be fun. Next week I'll share pictures of my sweet anniversary gift from my hubby. He already gave it to me (haha). I still can't believe we have been married for four years!? It seems like yesterday. Have a wonderful week everyone! Don't forget to follow me on instagram: @themeganwhite for additional pictures.

Kendra Scott Graduation Party

(Sharing some of my favorite clothing to pair with Kendra Scott)

(I have this in opal- and I love it!)

( This gives me a Texas vibe! I almost bought this stone!)

(How cute are these? They have diamonds on them)

Pina Colada Mocktail is amazing!

Happy Friday Diamonds Ladies! I'm really excited to finally share about the Kendra Scott event this past Monday. First of all, we raised $255.81 for the Alzheimer's Association. This is an awesome start to our fundraising goal for the Walk to End Alzheimer's. Thank you to everyone who came out and shopped. You have no idea who's life you are positively affecting.
Kendra Scott Southpark threw a graduation party in my honor and donated some of the proceeds to one of my favorite organizations, the Alzheimer's Association. My Mamaw suffered from Alzheimer's and Dementia. She passed away in January of 2015. I always try to honor her through raising funds for this great organization. Kendra Scott focuses on Family, Fashion, and Philanthropy.  I cannot say enough good things about the sweet ladies at KS Southpark (especially Jen & Arliss). They went above and beyond to throw an awesome event for a wonderful cause. I worked with Kendra Scott last September to raise money for the Alzheimer's Association so we have a long-standing relationship to support good causes. Every time I have an event, the team works to help every shopper find the perfect piece whether it's on the color bar or out on display.
The event was so much fun. I enjoyed meeting other bloggers and shopping with some friends. The KS Southpark store had lots of gluten-free food (the way to my heart) including chips & salsa, fruit, and the absolute cutest gf cupcakes (they had diamonds on them!). By the way, the pina colada mocktail is AMAZING! I'm pretty sure I single handily drank the whole bottle. So delicious! Everyone sipped and shopped. I ended up purchasing a few items myself. The new summer collection is gorgeous! I bought the Adams Gold Earrings in white pearl. I already love them because they look like a dream catcher with a classic pearl look. I also bought the Kristin Hoop Earrings in Clear Iridescent. I was clearly in earring mode during the event. Check out the new summer collection at Kendra Scott. The photos above have some of my favorite looks but if you still don't have your eye on anything, try the color bar where you can design your own jewelry! It's easy and the perfect way to be satisfied with your look.
Thank you to Kendra Scott Southpark for the graduation party and always being generous towards, and supporting the Alzheimer's Association. Thank you for the sweet graduation gifts, as well. Special thanks to Jennifer for hosting this amazing event. I hope you'll check out the Kendra Scott collection and enjoy your weekend!
