     Hi Everyone! It's been a whirlwind these last few weeks with exams, finishing law school, and a few other exciting things. This weekend I went to the Wells Fargo Championship at Quail Hollow here in Charlotte. It's one of my favorite traditions for the month of May. I never played golf growing up but my parents took me to tournaments as a child. I grew up around the sport and then I ended up marrying a competitive golfer. I have a lot of respect for the sport and maybe one day I will learn to play.
     Quail Hollow is a beautiful golf course in Charlotte. It's filled with astonishingly beautiful homes of some very prominent people. Normally we go to the Saturday and Sunday rounds. On Saturday, we went to the tournament and took along one of my law school friends. He is originally from New York so he was excited to get out and see some golf in Charlotte. This will be his last weekend in Charlotte before moving back to New York so it was great to spend some time with him. We had a wonderful time walking around the course and of course watching my two favorites, Phil Mickelson and Ricki Fowler. I even got my picture with Phil... JK.. it was just a cut out (sigh). On Saturday, I wore an off the shoulder yellow tassel dress. I love sundresses and this was perfect for the hot temperature. It's was breezy and light. I also wore a colorful tassel necklace. I was feeling super bright!
     On Sunday, we went to the tournament early. Thankfully, we did because it got to be about 90 degrees. I was lucky to have this tie-dye dress. I highly recommend the two dresses I wore this past weekend if you have any event outside in the upcoming summer months. I was very comfortable all day and even sat in the grass for a while studying for my exams (making my Bar Coach proud!). Also, if you ever go to the Wells Fargo Championship... get some lemonade! It's delicious and you can feel like Beyonce (Sips... Lemonade).
      If you are going to a golf tournament this year and have never been... I have a few tips for you! Buy a nice sundress. Usually the tournaments are warm and you want to have something breezy that you can move freely in.  Also, wear comfortable shoes whether that be sandals or sneakers because you will do a lot of walking and it is not always flat. Finally, check the regulations about purse sizes. The PGA Tour has certain guidelines for what size purse can be taken into the event. Cameras are not allowed. Sorry for the poor quality photos but I could only bring my iPhone. Finally, bring sunscreen! I learned my lesson, if you can't tell.
